What could we say to start.... Whyexactly EINLEITUNGSZEIT, how long do you exist?

P-01: EINLEITUNGSZEIT is here from theintroduction!, just like anything else that man discovered or will discover.We are recorded in the Space computer and we're merely fulfilling ourtask, now is the time to be monitored... "THE TIME OF INTRODUCTION"(in translation) expresses this phenomenon. No-one knows how long theintroduction of "everything" lasts, how long does the introduction ofEINLEITUNGSZEIT lasts, how much time is left to it ´till shutdown. We'remerely a sub-program of the mega-world, mega-program...

How did your music, sound change?

The sound of our cyberorganism naturallyevolves along with technologies used. Likewise it is important to tunein the brain's frequencies, neurones with frequencies, that technologycan create and record as well. Most frequently we use an alternative(to the) recording - keeping a certain moment of sound alongside thehappenings of our macro-universe. The brain reacts to the sound, whichbrings it to work, than he memorises this reaction and this sound andthan works with them. This is how it works with us. It's a good feelingwhen you can simultaneously fill up about thirty electric sockets!

What is the substance of EINLEITUNGSZEIT?

Everything revolves around the "man"(man, woman) and around thoughts from the very edge of his mind. SometimesI have pretty scary ideas about possible situations in the life of man- woman- machine - human and I can get really excited. To me it is fantasticto be looking for the place where the boundaries between reality andfantasy converge. Sounds can amplify and disclose it to me.

How would you define the style ofyour work?

We make something that is bound by thename EINLEITUNGSZEIT. We evolve, change, there can be no singular definitionof style. At the given moment P-01 and R -01 create and absorb CYBER- "PORNO" - INDUSTRIAL. Tomorrow this may no longer be the truth...

According to many opinions you arethe most extreme group in your geographic region. What do you thinkabout this?

From the stage, but also away from it,we "attack" people with true reality, which passes through us as well.What we do stems from our depths. Sometimes it's so strong that evenwe are shaken by it. It's not a game - it's our proclamation. Realityand dreams are the great extremes of human life!

I've seen a couple of your concerts,one time I was "really" scared. When the "show" was over, I felt reallyoverjoyed and relieved. Where do you aim with the brutal and dehumanised,man-attacking performances of EINLEITUNGSZEIT?

Part of the answer is you yourself andwhat you have experienced at one of our performances. You can respectthis fear, because it can be followed by death or by relief. But bothmeans the same. We are not concerned with promoting violence. Throughthis dehumanised mass we have brought out positive feelings from youas well. Performances are an amplified image of reality and possiblereality between man and man, and man and the cyber-world, mediated byour sight. We show man, we show to ourselves from within our bodiesdepths...

Which of your concerts do you consideras the most interesting so far?

The one where most people reacted andwill react like You did!

You have a few released titles toyour name now, which one do you cherish the most?

All of them! Each captures the givenperiod of EINLEITUNGSZEIT.

Most recently your album came outin Germany. Could you tell us some more about it?

It came out in Germany at a well-knownlabel ART-KONKRET. They are in fact two young gentlemen (likewise theyform a great band SOLDNERGEIST), which were interested already in ourfirst demo Die Menschzerstörung. A year later they proposed to put outan LP and meanwhile distributed all our demo's. Richard (CREWZINE' alsocontributed greatly to this, he is the one responsible for our promotionon the international scene.

When will you start preparing anotherproject?

A new product should come out withina few months at RECALCITRANT NOISE in the USA. It will be another LP:We became friends with the leader of this label. He is very excitedwith our production, which we greatly appreciate. Currently we are finishingthe newest material, which, we hope, will come out as an LP or CD.

Where do your sounds and noises comefrom?

We record industrial noises in factoriesand production plants and also in our sound laboratory HIRNLARM. Othersounds and noises are alchemy, the process and production is kind ofour secret.

What does EINLEITUNGSZEIT, powerelectronics, noise or music in general mean to you?

The magical tit of the Universe, fromwhich we as well imbibe, the source of eternal knowledge, the womb ofthe world, where you can always gather enough energy, unidentifiablewarmth and the fragrance of life... Music is a superbeing! with which,between it and us, there is a constant mystical coitus.

Why do you think is the current stateof Slovak and Czech post-industrial culture so incredibly poor (comparedto the countries of "normal" Europe")?

We are missing strong roots. Comparedto other countries here we had only a few bands operating in the "underground",and this mainly in the Czech Republic, before the fall of communism.there was a lack of information, no communication, mostly everythinghappened among isolated groups of eager fans connected to the West inone way or another. Our culture went in a different direction than thewestern culture, it wasn't easy to create fre'ly here. We were wellisolated from the decade long wave of industrialism in music. At presentthis music has hardly any support from the mass media, it is difficultto find support for organising concerts and festivals. Today everythingis based on money and that's why only the most 'ngaged, those, who liveby this "border" culture, survive. And this, taken from this point ofview, is more important according to me, than mass accumulation of post-industrialand electronic objects.

What future is in store for the post-industrialculture according to you?

This culture has already proven itsability to cope and this hasn't changed now. In fa't it seems, thatthere is a world-wide boom on now, new bands crop up with new directions...many diversified ways of thought are connecting now, and this shouldresult in an accumulation and solidification of this pseudo-sphere inthis culture and will cause another explosion of evolution and advancing.The important thing is to create something, to produce and than thesewords are pointless. "ALLES IST PROGRAMM!"

In EINLEITUNGSZEIT you have differentroles, or are you one breathing cyber-organism?

P-01 creates structures with technologies,the main noise-thoughts of the songs, he transfers images and ideasfrom the mind to the lyrics, he provides the arrangement, the vocals,R-01 is the technical worker of the organism, he invents new industrialinstruments and works them too, he can use a grinder, a circular saw,springs and various metal "organs" very emotionally, also a sampler.."Together we form one cyber-animal, one cyber-organism, which breathesand works spontaneously on the basis of individual organs, that influenceand complete...

Would you like to say anything toour readers?

The brain, safely isolated in the darknessand quiet inside the skull, is not capable of knowing the "real world".
